    Race 10- Woodbine Canadian International
Woodbine's Canadian International @ 1 1/2 miles on Turf, any thoughts??

This is what I like so far:
1- Sarah Lynx, she is a lightly race 4yo, she is out of the mighty Montjieu, her last race was a G1 event which she came fourth. She is trained by John Hammond and will be ridden by Soumillon who knows her pretty well. So I expect a good effort from her. Don't think if she will win, but think she will hit the board at ML 15-1, which is not bad for the exotics.

5- Quest for Peace, he is out of the sensational Galileo, he is a 3yo which will a weight break. He has won 3 in a row. Although, he is 3, he seems to be getting better each time. His last race was a grade 3 event which he won easily, now he will be trying for Grade 1. Again, I don't know if he will win, but at 8-1 ML, should be included in the exotics.

9- Rahstrada, This 7 yo will be ridden by Leparoux who I think is one of the best turf riders in the U.S. This horse has been doing well and would not surprise me if he wins.

10- Redwood, he came in 3rd in this race last year. He has done well this year, but has not won which I don't like as a horse for all the marbles. Will use him in the exotics.

13- Treasure Beach, he is trained by Aidan O'Brien and out of Galieo, will be ridden by O'Donoghue, this trainer/jock combo won the feature yesterday at Keeneland. Obviously, they have to be respected. The only thing that I see is that why he raced so poorly last time, lost by 18 lengths.....

so what do you guys like.

I think Arctic Cosmos is the most likely winner and 6-1 would be a gift.My guess is he wins this and then will be tough making his 3rd start off the layoff in the Breeders Cup Turf .

Sarah Lynx is interesting because the fillies have been better over there this year and she has been knocking heads with the best of them.(Galikova,Midday,Plumania,Sarafina) See her as the next likely winner although not sure the 15-1 is going to stick.

Would use them 2 in horizontals and Quest For Peace,Treasure Beach underneath for EX and TRIs and add Mikhail Glinka and Redwood for Supers.

Don't think the North American horses are going to fare to well.

I agree with the north American horses, probably font hv to chance to win, but I do like the 9 rahystrada to hit the board. The 2 I will use also, his comeback run after being off for 1 yr was great. He trained by Gosden which helps, but he is out of north light and marquetry which I personally don't care for as a long distance turf runner. Definitely will use in the super, thanks god the super $.20 min

This will be a good race to watch, not too in wagering, can't really find a stand out here. Gonna put a small wager. I'm gonna try to beat the 13, hoping that last stinker is real.

I am just totally sick to my stomach, I had the 1 in my super then I changed my mind the last minute on another ticket simply because she is filly.

                    COMPLETED: 38173623077236 WO #10

ticket cost $240 for a $1 exacta box, I mean hypothetically it would cost $240

ok, so I guess I should feel better, sarah lynx became the FIRST filly to win the Canadian international since 1988.......

Well, guess what, she is sired by the Montjeu, and Joshua Tree (2nd place) is also sired by Montjeu, Treasure Beach (3rd Place) is sired by Galileo. (who also sired Frankle). Seeing their offsprings perform so well brings back memories of Montjeu and Galileo and also Lammtarra (who I thought at the time was best race horse ever).......

It is too bad we haven't seen that many great offsprings running in recent years in the states.
