"Creme de Cuvee makes her eagerly anticipated debut in the fifth race at Philadelphia Park tomorrow vs. what appears to be a rugged band of maidens. Only two have started and both ran decently. Of the others, many are well bred and were sold as yearlings or 2YO's in training for prices as high as $115,000. As the saying goes, horses don't know what they brought in the ring, so a more modestly priced filly such as ours is not intimidated by that. With that said however, many of the field have been working well and are trained by prominent conditioners. We don't know whether we can beat this field or not. What we do know is that we have a very fast filly and they'll have to have their running shoes on to handle her best, based on her morning trials. We'll be betting and hoping for the best."
