I have heard overseas friends bet online, I'm not sure which book, but I can't do so in the US (have to go to vegas or foxwoods). I have a friend who bets for me locally. If you search online though there are a few books that offer HK racing.Comment -

I used to but do it recreationally now, and same moved to the US from HK. It's harder to bet on HK races IMO because it's hard for us to tell if the jockey plans to try.. but it's definitely a lot more homey for me to watch HK racing. Hey guys small loss last time will post result when i have more time i've been busy.
Last day of horse racing going on right now, just cashed in what will probably be my only play of the day in race 1, horse #12 威陽 for 10 units place, he winded up finishing second so it's a solid end to my year with 10 more units
Just want to share a small piece of wisdom:
Last day in HK racing, ambitions MUST be included in your formula. there are horses that haven't met the year's goals yet and those horses must be paid extra attention to. Most of us know that horses who has a rating below 20 at the end of the season won't be eligible to race anymore, and #12 威陽 was such a horse. He was rated 13 before last race a week or two ago, and raced very hard to finished 3rd and got 4 point increase. within a week or two he is immediately racing again, which shows that he really really wants to finish the year above 20 points and thus the ambition/effort will be there. Only thing that's left is the horse's actual speed. with gate position 1, he was blessed and now will likely remain in the league next year. Lesson is that these ambitions pay a large role in HK racing, whether we like it or not. a lot of horses that have been doing well, if paid close attention to, will realize that they have a different purpose or goal in mind-- to lose and drop in rating so they can race against worse horses down the road. the last day of the season will have quite a few of horses making their last stand, so keep a look out if you are doing HK racing!Comment
