my best bet for sat and i rarely use the word best bet
Ok this year I have had 5 best bets. I usually never wager more on one horse then another. My best bets are never worse then 6/5. I am not saying this is a lock, there is no such thing. I wouldnt even tail me because this could be a total bust, but i am 4 out 5 on these bets this year, but this will be my toughest pick yet.

    Belmont race 11

I am going with the 1. Master of hounds.
I like the skipping of the preakness. He is a wonderful closer and he had waved his way through a crap load of stuff in the derby. I think this distance suits him just fine. I don't think the 1 spot will hurt him at this distance he should be able to postion himself. 13 horses is a lot easier to navigate then 20. I will be doing a wps with him. I also like ruler on ice at a big price to finish in the money. The key to this race is does shackleford give out and does Animal kingdom move into good position. This is the way i see it ending up. good luck to all and hopefully we all cash

    1 master of hounds
    2.Animal kingdom
    3 ruler on ice
    4. shackleford
    5 nehro

Ruler on Ice is over matched in this field....he will finish last or 2nd to last along with prime cut...take him out and add either brilliant speed, shack, or nehro in 3rd spot and you got a winning trifecta box right there.

I have Master of Hounds among my contenders as well. Just not sure that this is a competitive horse. Only won one race, and that was by 6 lengths so didn't need to be competitive. Two second places by a nose (to third place). So looks like he's fighting real hard for 2nd. Two previous races on American soil, and was just 5th and 6th. I just don't see a horse that wants to win no matter what.

*******Did not see poster JakeLC already posted the will pays***** My bad!

Something to add is the Brooklyn (ran yesterday)/Belmont double will pays have Animal Kingdom paying at $34.20 and Master of Hounds paying $34.60. Now the ml odds of animal kingdom is 2-1 and Master of Hounds 10-1. Nothing is certain and I try to find quirks like this when betting. I found this tidbit in the NY Post and wanted to note it.

Nehro is the 3rd choice paying at $48.80.

WTTF, I don't think you'll see 7 or higher. Before I saw these willpays I thought it would go off at 7-1. Now that I saw this, I'm really thinking 5-1 or 9/2.
