1.The way Pluck has come back to run after winning Breeders Cup made Banned a downgrade
2.Banned was going to take all the money = his odds go up
3.His last race at Gulfstream was explosive
4.His late turn of foot wouldn't have traffic problems in a short field
5.Block wouldn't have put him in the race if he didn't think he could beat Banned.
6.The best turf jock with closers in the country was on his back
7.3rd off a layoff
8.Bullet work coming in + a Bullet work for a closer says a lot more than a bullet work for a frontrunner
