Tips you started this system on March 27th and 3 months later you are down 7 points so the system is holding its own but not profiting , i do think money is there to be had "Laying" Horses but after 3 months your going to have to tweak something bud because as we all know if we remain on the same level of balance for any leangthy period we get itchy fingers and the tendency to make bad bets rears its ugly head , very best of luck with your work though mate you deffinitely giving the system every chance !!!!!!

truebluebear: yes, I agree, but did you read my summary? Interestíng is strike-rate for selections with odds greater than 20. 254-2 and counting, that is 99,2%. That is huge and I am holding my breath to see where it crashes. I also tightened the selection criteria, so there are definitely less selections, now only arount 10 a week. That is like 3-4 times less than before. I am just praying that this will last... hm, forever I guess ;-) The problem with my system right now is that it takes really tiny small steps up and one hit would be disastrous... taking 3-4 weeks of profit out. Anyway, thank you for interest.

Tips those figures for over 20's odds are interesting mate , very encouraging and i am of the opinion that to have ANY hope of success in Horserace betting then you MUST have a system and betting plan in place , watching this evolve and hope it pans out bud also good to see you are tweaking it here and there because many folk refuse to waiver from their original thought process even when results are screaming for a "Tweak" GL: Tips !!!!!!!!!

Thanks tbb, but I guess what I can call a (small and partial) success is when I go 1000-2, not 250-2. I mean, with these high odds, being up just 2 1/2 units is not much of a secure comfort that the system is healthy. I can lose 2 or 3 around-30 odds and be back on even. That means I will be there 2 years from now generating 10 bets a week ... hmmmm, not a great result I guess, slower than a turtle running a marathon. With 1000-2 I would be up around 16 units after 2 years. But if you make a unit big enough... maybe it would be worth it. Anyway, I have to win SU for 21 more months, so I rather shut up now and here and take it day-by-day. Finger-crossed for Sunday.

Another week, another 12 losers... of which 2 were really close to disaster (Burza, Avec Moi).
One over 100, another less than 20. I banked 3,3 points (same as week before), which gives
a chance to gain a full unit (amount risked) roughly in a 3 weeks. If no winner occurs in next
week, I guess I will be back in green numbers.

Agree. I am not laying at 1000, these are excluded. Odds 500+ still seem ridiculous, but they can be profitable. I will see where it goes... anyway, laying a horse at odds 500 who wins 1 in 502 races MEANS PROFIT. In reality I guess I am saying they cannot win once in a whole life. So thank you for stopping by, I understand what you are saying and in the end, it is only VALUE that matters. Hope it is somewhere on my side.

I do a lot of betting against (laying) horses but I concentrate on betting against heavy favorites in cheap claiming races.
