Mark , I believe it plays like this .... if you win the horse contest then you make a pick in the contest , only the winner of the contest makes a pick .
Win or lose you win the points in the pool.... Why you ask ?
All other players are DQ and can't win for that reason .
That's the way I understand the contest rules .

Thx everyone...I got the points fine.After I won I just made a pick.I don't think it matters if you win or lose but I won with the Sixers -9 and the points were there when nI woke up this morning

Yeah thats how you get the points.He sets it up so that everyone gets one pick.The winner of the contest is the only one who uses his/her pick.Everyone else gets disqualified for not making a pick.
