does anyone in here handicap the meadowlands?weekend cards espcially?

ive focused my attention elsewhere: yonkers, woodbine, the meadows, pompano, balmoral, maywood and opening soon: pocono!
its (the meadowlands) just not what it used to be. surrounding states have legalized slots that pumped up their purses to the point where the big m cant/wont compete....its fast becoming the northfield of the east: meaning-people go there to race their pets.

The quality of horse and their race cards will pick up after their April break. Late spring and summer racing, though not quite as good as in the past, will still be highly competitive at this time.

(property too valuable to waste on a race track). quality of racing has been on downslide for years. mostly it's calvalry charge racing so play good drivers and horses with fastest closing final quarters if you must. too bad you missed out on meadowlands golden era 1976-1995. after that it went downhill.

this isnt the last year.. they have a guy in there nowthat will save them.. slots are coming, they'll be on top again
