Starting Off and looking to absorb
I'm starting to get into Horses a lot more, Love the action.

I was wondering what are good systems or tools that you all would recommend.

I took a look into TrackMaster Pro and didn't like it to much.

Currently keeping my own stats in EXCEL. Tedious pulling in names and numbers from races into an excel though. But It gives me total control.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Systems don't work..But here are a few angles to look for
1)..A horse who shows early speed going a mile and shortens up next time out
2)..Blinkers on and shows a faster work since his last race
3)..3rd off layoff..Did show some improvement in 2nd start
4)..Top jock on a poor trainer..Could be a live long shot
5)..6 to 8 workouts a week apart for a first time starter is always a good thing
