Mother Nature strikes again in 2011

Parx Racing canceled live racing for its Saturday 1/22/11 program.

Also, Charles Town canceled the remainder of its Friday night card 1/21/11 after the 3RD race due to frigid temperatures.

Also, With temperatures falling to 7 degrees and wind chill at minus 4 degrees, Turfway Park In Florence, Ky., has canceled live racing on Friday 1/21/11, after finishing three races without incident. The track remained open for simulcasting.

With simulcasting available, management does not care about cancellations . Before that existed,cancellations for temperature was non existent.
