Don't do it - if you can't beat the system straight up - go back and do more research.
What is your current strike rate with the method that you plan to use ?

p.s. this is NOT progressive handicapping - its progressive staking ...

Where are you getting your selections from?
Are you able to get fixed odds when placing your bets .. ?
If not - How do you know what your return will be on the selections ?
.. your progressive bet may not be enough to cover your previous losses.
