they had quarters last year(2009).i guess ther're running the same format.i hope this year they will throw in some 41/2furlongs,and,some 800 yds.i should have a fighting chance to score.

They're able to run up to 1/2 their card for Tbreds, but are sticking with the Quarters for now. They did slash their takeout to 12% across the board for this meet, a considerable drop from last year and the Hialeah of years past.

If you're a Tbred fan, Gulfstream opens 1/5. The best winter racing meet hands down. The changes they've made over the last 2 years have been extremely positive. Looking forward to the upcoming meet.

hialeah crap track. no need for it at all. gulfstream overrated too. just a glorified calder with the same junk running. calif raising their takeout on exotics. not good for bettors. winter racing dilemma. wait till fairgrounds horses have some starts. wait for oaklawn also in feb. inner track at aqueduct ok if weather holds up. turfway crap shoot avoid. los alamitos has risen back with larger fields good value there.

gotta disagree w/your take on the gulfstream meet, top horses already on the grounds & palm training waiting

hileah is adverstising 12 percent take on all wagers. you arent going beat that anywhere, be careful because total wps takeout was less then 1000 per race

Quarter horses are boring and until they get casino money and thoroughbred there takeout wont be a factor in many minds
