Ok youbet merged with churchill downs and all youbet members have been moved to twinspires. How do I rate this new site? ******* TERRIBLE
I cannot even bet anymore without blowing a gasket and when I called customer service(on hold over half an hour) I was told they were swamped with irate former youbet customers and I do not blame them. Let us go over the pain.
1)wagering screen was done by a complete idiot. I miss the clean lines of youbet.
2)constantly logs you out without logging you out. Makes no sense right? Imagine doing video or making a bet when suddenly it tells you that you either have not wagered enough for video or you cannot make a bet because you are logged out when you are not.
3)making bets. don't ******* get me started here. I am lucky if I get my bet since I like to bet when loading the gate. I am constantly getting some strange error or better yet account busy please try again.
4)like to see what bets you made in the wager list screen? So would I. It is constantly busy trying to load this screen. I bet alot so I forget some of my exact bets and have been left to wonder at the end if I won or not.
5)Like to see 'will pay' or some of the payouts. Good luck getting them to work most of the time. Many times I get not available.
6)reward system. Until you bet a ton you have to bet around 5k just to get a $10 free bet. I used to get this with just a few hundred dollars with youbet.
7)I was a platinum member at youbet. I got free overnight checks when I wanted them but not with twinspires. They charge me $23 for overnight. Ridiculous. Yes I know I can withdraw back into my checking but sometimes I do not wanna wait especially near the weekend.
8)Did you deposit and then want to take some money out. Youbet always let you especially us longtime members. Not twinspires. They put a hold on the amount of money that has not cleared. I love being treated like a thief.
9)customer service? I never was on hold over 30 seconds with youbet. They always also called you back and emailed you immediately. Good luck with twinspires. Over 30 minutes on hold and over a day to get back to me via email.
10)rewards again. I loved seeing my reward points come in immediately after the race and I could cash them in when I wanted. Not with twinspires. You have to wait at least a day(been over that and still nothing) and then put in a request and wait lord knows how long for them to process it.
11)youbet used to get your withdrawal requests out same day almost all the time even with bets into the afternoon eastern time. Not twinspires. You are lucky to get it out next day and often times more than that. I know some people with sportsbooks would be happy with that but not this camper. Youbet was great. Twinspires can suck it. When my check arrives I am closing my account.
12)I just remember one of my biggest peeves. Their box says something like 4 mtp. You go and take a minute to check out the program or odds and then make your bet at 3 mtp only suddenly you cannot. You put the video on and see them coming down the stretch because they are morons who cannot synch their clock to the races.
