In Belmont Race 3, the fave was 1/9 until shortly before post, then went to 1/4 and then 2/5...

...and promptly fell at the start and unseated the rider.

I think some people lost A LOT of money on that. Betting the ponies seems easy at times, but it's just not.

it is worth a chance sometimes. At the offshore book, I would get the mutual, plus 7% in freeplay money. Basically, if it shows, I would get the mutual and a $70 freeplay if I bet 1k.
