ps if my 1a is scratched, go with #8 .... what does this mean ..... my understanding is this .... if you take a duel entry such as 1/1a or 2 / 2b and one of the horses is scratched you have the horse that is left ..... in order to have the alternate you will need both horses to be scratched .... Rules , we must have rules..... so tell me how this works before we have an incident .... Thanks !

yeah i dont see a problem.....he wrote 1a for his horse not just 1 and he stated well ahead of post time he wants 1a first then 8.

Yes the #1 She's Swish looks to be the better of the two horses , on paper . The question is this , and if not made clear it will eventualy come into play, duel entries are to be split , then we must make it clear , you must specify the #1 or #1a, you can't have it both ways ..... I don't care which way you play it . I've played enough contest in my life to know that you are going to have problems with some of the most simple things with some of the smartest people in the world . Don't rail on me .... just make a call , one way or the other .... To quote a famous horse handicapper Arizona Dave .... What track are we playing ..... just joking !!

whats the problem, if the 1a dont run, i dont want the 1, i want the 8 if you dont specify, then if the 1a gets scratched you get the 1 so if you want both , put 1a and 1 as alternate if both get scratched, you get the favorite. is that simple enough?

no problem ritchie, i just feel since being previously trained by pessin neil, hes had one race at hawthorne which is dirt track and dont know how shes swish gonna do on it
the #1 is probaly the logical play with the dropdown, but i got a gut feeling either the 1a runs or the 8 wins

good luck to us we'll just have to see how the track is running today
