anyone like the grandslam wager ny tracks only, 4 legs like a pk4, your horse just has to hit the board in the first 3 legs, but has to win the final leg, which is feature race

is it available at all ny tracks? is it always the same 4 races @ 4 different tracks? sounds cool to me.....

grand slam at nyra tracks only. ususally underpays. dime supers are overpaying everywhere. just get a couple of price horses in the top 4 and watch payouts balloon upward.

Nope .. you get paid if your horse finishes in the first 2, 3 or 4 depending on the number of runners that were declared in the race ... but you get the lower odds ... I tend to bet 20/80, 30/70 or 50/50 for longer priced horses depending on the competition.

Its a good option when you have a real hotshot favorite and you don't want to take the long odds-on.

all ny tracks,same track wager, starts 5th race on 9 race card, 6th race on 10 race card,, otbs that use unitedtote offer the wager

can't approach it like a pk4, single all 4 legs or 2 deep in a leg, what would a pk 4 pay if leg 1 3 horse dead heat, leg 2 3h-dh, leg3 3h-dh, and a win in leg 4,, payoff would be small, if the big money guys like a $4 horse in the feature, they often hammer this bet, thus turning the 4.00 horse into an 7-15 dollar payoff if it hits,, being a $2 player, i throw out the chalk in the first 3 legs, if a chalk don't hit the board it might turn the 4.00 horse into 80.00 horse

example, mondays payout (leg1*2.70/1 leg2*3.60,/ leg3*1.35 can't remember which one of these did not show think 2nd leg,, 4th leg the #9 wins pays 3.60
grand slam payoff 4,5,9/1,3,5/2,4,10/9= 83.60
a very hitable straight $20 9/5/4/9 got you back over 800
hard enough to hit the board 3 races in a roll, chalk or not
