I watchem and betem alot

I watchem mostly and wager when prudent.
Last Sunday I hadn't played in 3 weeks,
and I turned $50 into 200 and had to hit get this

4 winners
3 exactas
2 trifectas
1 pick4 50cent

thats alot of winning and I had to do it with 14 outta the 50 because I played 36 on the mmth pick5

The only way to make money with horses is to play with a rebate shop --- you must get preserve at least some of the vig to stay above water.

I have a friend that bets all his wagers through eHorse and he really likes it. The rebates are good and he does well on the horses also. Joeyp is a good handicapper and he will steer you right. He hit a few nice ones at the bash.

tough game. but if you try to win the money that people lose betting on the favorite you can cash some decent tickets. almost every exacta with the favorite out of it overpays. and they have exactas every race everywhere every day. pik 3's,4's,6's, force you to bet races that may be unplayable because they're in the sequence. full field high price claimers and overnight stakes especially on turf offer solid chances to cash those $40-$200 exacta payoffs by throwing out the favorite.

I only bet horses on the weekends....Also it is only one track, Los Alamitos. I'm more familiar with the horses, jockeys, trainers, etc....I watch it on TVG.

The favorite only wins like 33% of the time. So, handicappers who look for situations where the favorite is "false" will do better.

Winning is difficult. I use a software program that is fantastic, as well as subscribing to daily reports that have worked well for me.

Pick your spots, avoid short priced horses, hunt for overlays.

If you have a consistent wager be it $2/$5/$20/etc to win (or other wager), and know the track you're wagering upon, you have a shot.
