I talked to an Amish guy that adopts standardbred harness racers.They get them at 4 years old sometime and they get 15-20 years of service out of them.It's like getting a Cadilac already trained for 2k or less for these people.Great deal.
T-breds are too high strung but they can make good show riders in western and drassage.
