State with the nicest OTB outlets.
I have been to alot of states with little in the way of actual racing but they have OTB's in all the half way decent sized cities.South Dakota,North Dakota and Wyoming come to mind. Some have what I call hole in the wall OTB outlets like in Cheyenne,Wyoming. So what states have the best OTB's?

Been there, joey. It's a decent setup compared to most in the state.

Yeah the one in Oaks is a better atmosphere but I used to go to the one by the stadiums just about everyday before I became computer literate.

All of Pennsylvania's are nice, and the OTBs in New Jersey (Woodbridge and Toms River) are also very nice.

I love the Turf Club. Only went there once to kill a few hours before the Braves/Phillies game, but it's very nice compared to the rinky-dink one in Cortland (NY) I normally go to, and incredibly convenient to park across the street for $10 and kill a few hours there then walk to the game.

I've been to many in the louisville area and loved them all. I'm sure they are all very similar. I hit a 100/1 longshot in louisville.

jd coopers too small. albany teletheatre too old. pa otbs well constructed. most comfortable one is plainridge ma. not an otb in reality but upstairs serves as one.

Ive been to the one in Woodbridge, and its a nice setup to sit and watch the races, but the beer is expensive, and when i was there, they didnt even have a snack bar to get hot dogs. had to order food through a waitress from the restaurant, only knock on them

I been to every one in Southern California. Many are nice! Fairplex's current setup is nice but the food is overpriced. The Orange Show in San Bernardino is a nice building but has been a victim of poor management in the past. Victorville and Palmdale are dumps. The tracks are not that good as otb's {Hollywood, Santa Anita, Los Alamitos} Surfside at Del Mar is very nice and well run. In San Diego Barona is the best of the three otb's in San Diego. In Indio there are two that are both very functional. Lake Perris offers TVG with there in house channels and I like that option. If I had to vote for one as the best it would be Surfside.

dude! i agree 100%! ive been to the otbs in central square/oswego/fulton/binghamton (ny) and they phucking blow! ive driven past the one in rome and it looks more like the ones im used to in pa (oaks philly park turf club and reading's penn national otb) where you can actually get some food/drink...well, food and drink that doesnt drop out of a machine that is....

don't stay at any otb more than 3 hours or you will wear down mentally by betting too many races at too many tracks and will have a lighter wallet.
