I only started playing seriously and keeping records for the last few years.Before that my roi was out of this world and totally unsustainable.Like most that is what gets you hooked on the game.When you are just betting for fun with a few hundred dollars and end up with 25x that.Then 09' and 10' I started trying to beat the game which meant an emphasis on managing my bankroll.I never changed the size of my bets much no matter how much I was up which is where I think a lot of people go wrong.As they win they start betting bigger and bigger until one losing streak wipes them out.To answer your question the last two years I had around 35% and 15% roi's.I have to admit this year has been a struggle fluctuating between being up and down.The good news is that the Breeders Cup and the Gulfstream meet have been the biggest gains for me in the past and they are yet to come.

Not really I guess I like Duke Of Naples in the 8th the best of what is left.I liked Kanagaro the most but Unbridled Ocean was just too good.

Thx think I'm taking a break until Breeders Cup after today.Yesterday hurt as I landed on Ultimate Eagle who won at 34-1 but then backed off when some "sharp" people labeled him as too slow to compete.Missed out on a exacta worth a few grand but that is the last time I will ever question myself or listen to anyone else.

I know exactly how you feel for I have done that many times..... what I have learn over the years is that I still play what I believe is the right play, but I would also make a small play on the "sharp" recommendation. GL to you.

Maybe not but I see no value in betting her.I'd rather take my chances and box 6-8-4 in exacta or key the 6 with 8,4,13 in a EX BX.

She ran a big number last time followed by a layoff so maybe it hurt her a bit.Or maybe she fires back to that race and dusts them but either way betting against her in exactas sounds better to me than using her and ending up with a $18 payout.

I agree with both My miss aurelia and Secret Circle,I just hate to bet short priced favorites.So I usually put who I think has most value as a W/P/S on top and not necessarily who I think is the most likely winner.

I think Stopshoppingmaria runs well too but think Somali Lemonade is in a league of her own and I'm a fan of Stephs Kitten.Also says something that Johnny V got off SSM to ride SK.
