What the hell does horse fixing( Fixed what) and casino gambling have to do with each other?
My first thought is that jockeys fixed a race but after looking at the purse structure and understanding the ability of those jockeys to make it somewhere else ,this is either misleading or they are completely ignorant. ( Not shocking )
As too the casino gambling, we can only assume that they rigged the machines to not pay out as well as regulated.Comment -

next time i go i am going to try and get a refund for the 7 dimes i have lost this year betting these fake races......my buddy is a great horse handicapper too he mentioned something about possible fixes but i just blew it all off as bad luck and frustration
General you think they will give me a refund with these new allegations coming out??? they would have to at least give me a free play i am going to cause hell....i am about to write my local Congressman Dan Burton right now that guy takes care of us

Although I know I could never change your mind and you will think I'm an idiot,You are truly mistaken.Tracks with very small purses breed corruption because there simply isn't enough money to go around, but tracks with decent too large purses are not the places where this is happening.Trainers , jockeys ,and agents are not going to risk a solid livelihood for a chance to cash a bet.
I was at Bowie on Valentines day and saw that race live. Odd betting patterns and skewed payouts is what got those guys caught not anything obvious within the race.
Again, I know you do not agree and that's cool. Just wish I could explain certain things that happen in a race to you so you would understand it for what it really was instead of what it seemed to be to the betting public.And because horses get checked, jocks make dumb mistakes or feel the need to ease up on them or they just run poorly, anyone that bet is going to naturally feel as though they got screwed.
Could never blame anyone for feeling that way but its like seeing a player drop a ball and thinking the game is fixed.Or Vince Carter in game 2 missing 2 free throws and he bet on Boston.Sure looks like it but probably is not the case.

I don't believe in FIXED races. That indicates eveyone in the race is on the know....doesn't happen....What happens on rare occasions is an individual will hold back a horse to try and cash at a later date for bigger odds....he still ususally misses...I would have no hesitation betting the horsesComment -

Might not be the right word to call it fixed races, but ive been around many instances where multiple parties were involved to "stiff" their horses setting it up for one of their buddies.. I was in a win picture of one of them. i think guys stiffing horses is far worse than if a entire race was fixed.Comment -

One of several reasons I walked away 10 years ago.A very few trainers do ,most do not.
Nothing worse then getting beat a head by some piece of crap trainer and vet that I knew was taking an edge.That's how clean baseball guys felt ,I am sure, when they saw the cheaters prosper.
Then next thing you know, your owner fires you, ( was on the racing commission), and gives his horses to the cheating piece of crap.
That happened to me.
Do you think I was pissed? Couldn't prove it and it was sour grapes if I talked.
But I knew.
Rather think of the good times I had and there were many.
Thinking of that makes me angry.Comment -
