How much should I win with this pools ?

I understood that tote its kinda different from uk races, but i got a question.


I did a pick 3 bet on diamond bookmaker.

and I won.

Pick 3 1/5,7/8 53.80

I took this from ebetusa page result, its phil r6 of today

So i should receive 53,80 dollars for each dollar I putted into the bet ?


Cause I used 2 dollars on it and i won only 51,80

I was expecting at least 100.

Can anyone explain me ? >_<

if you made a $1 pick 3 --------- and the total cost of your bet was $2 then you only get the $51, if you spent $4 on that bet, then you would get the $102

According to the results chart at www.drf.com the payoff on $53.80 was for a two dollar wager. The payoff is correct. Phily Park has one of the higher takeouts in the country, they clip you for a couple of bucks each time.

there wont be a calculator since this is based off pari-mutuel wagering which means your betting against other bettors
