Dont ever change your mind. This happen to me once but never again. Play an extra ticket if you have to and quit looking at the tote board.

THe old saying goes you should either bet a few bucks like an 8 dollar ticket, or spend thousands -- those are the only +EV ways to play on a big carryover. Playing a hundred bucks of combos is a losing proposition long term.
