Arlington Gr. 1s Pick 3

Not liking these races, but can't pass, so here's my plays.

Race 7: No. 7 Mostacolli Mort w/ No. 4 Latice. Pretty weak field for a Grade 1, but I gotta play longshot No. 7. I had him last out at Hollywood and he wins easily at 5-1 only to be DQ'd to fourth. Canini is a sharp trainer, but maybe the owner is making him send the horse into this tough spot. Plenty of races at Del Mar for this guy, but he figures to be 25-1 in here. Might have a shot.

Race 8: Can't get a feel for this one at all. No. 1 Citronade gets tested here but I think she takes it. Maybe No. 7 Royal Highness has a shot. Second start off layoff and rider switch to Douglas.


Race 9: No. 2 Sunriver with No. 5 The Tin Man.

I really like the 4 horse Lady of Venice in the 8th, Slew.

Did cash small play on second pick Royal Highess WPS at 9-1. Citronade broke slow and never was a factor, as well as Honey Rider.

Ran out in the other 2 races.
