ton of speed and i think prat will get a nice stalking trip breaking from the outside post .. I like 5 talkin (20-1) as an underneath (3rd,4th) in triples and supers .. maybe make some combos saturday

Weather looks good for the card on Saturday. I plan to play some. I think the Black Eye Susan/Preakness Double may fetch a nice return and I plan on taking a stab.

I think there's enough early speed to keep Taj mahal honest which would also set yours up nicely
.. I like his progression and even in his debut from the 11 post the line he ran always suggests distance and he folliwed up nicely at churchill with that.. willing to toss holy bull with how he followed up in the virginia derby .. did some running in the ky derby also .. have to overcome the outside post but lots of positives to me

I would certainly upgrade my opinion pigpen as it's possible with those siblings there's still room for a forward move .. while this information is much easier to get these days, in a public race like this, it's generally overlooked .. I think factoring the lexington stakes was his first attempt around 2 turns and vs graded stakes company it wasn't a bad effort at all .. also like that he not only won , but crushed allowance competition at a smaller track the race before that

Incredibolt ran well w/ 126 lb in the derby.

Iron Honor adds 3 lbs tomorrow, up to 126 lbs.

I really don't factor weight (just me) unless it's a really large amount .. over 5 lbs .. even then usually wouldn't throw me off a horse .. probably more than balances itself out that iron honor comes in fresh off 6 weeks rest vs just exiting the derby .. I also believe most people who consider weight wouldn't be swayed by 3 lbs but of course it's an individual thing

wow in the early betting with a significant amount in the pool iron honor is ice cold @ 8-1 .. with prat aboard I think this is a really bad sign ..my other talkin is almost the same odds @ 9-1 and he I was hoping to get a price on with a 20-1 ml .. you can get burned getting too fancy but rethinking my position .. will be back here with an update either way

since I posted without any consideration for the odds I'm going to leave this alone (stick with #9 IH) .. however I did mention #5 talkin as an underneath in triples.. instead going to make him an additional win bet (currently they're both 9-1) an add an exacta box 59 ..$4 win both with a $1 ex box would be about the right ratio for me .. exacta currently paying about 80 for $1 either way
