he closed at 4-1 also .. have a hunch if it closed tomorrow and bettors could have seen the 3 major preps today he might've been a point or 2 higher
closed 4-1 and might've gone to 5 or 6-1 had today's three preps been included (sunday close) .. closed pool 3 at 37-1 (thread starter)Comment -

#451st ..golden tempo (curlin) $225k fee
.. only one in field
2nd .. renegade (into mischief) $250k fee
1 of 3 including (logical by odds) commandment (6-1) .. also mentioned dam sire is (curlin)
3rd ..ocelli (connect) $10k fee (70-1)
a paternal grandson of (curlin) and the only other curlin blood in the race .. if you were going to throw him in it would be underneath consider he's a generation removed and odds .. toss in the str age angle as he's a feb foal
so curlin is in the bloodlines of the top 3 finishers .. in order
golden tempo (sire)
renegade (dam sire)
ocelli (paternal grand sire)
50 cent triple pd $5625

#46Derby winner will pass on the Preakness. This will be an interesting race at Laurel. I am looking forward to seeing the field. I had a group of folks over on Derby day and most of them were on Renegade since he won the Arky Derby. It was a great race to watch. I had the Japanese horse and when he opened up I thought he was home free. Those early fractions took a toll.Comment -
