Funny thing about pick five I just bet at Parx

So I had four legs of a Chaulk pick five completed and was going into the last leg, the horse a single got scratched late. Now I figured that there would be a cancellation play, but I guess there
wasn’t and I must’ve got the race favorite which didn’t come in.

so other than being bitter and pissed off with nobody to complain too. Is there any rules about having a consolation payout or the favorite taking your horses place?

Yes. It is typically moved to that races favorite. That can vary from track to track.
