2 starts, 2 2nd's. Both left at the gate in larger fields. Boy if this guy ever figures out the gate. He looks real solid.

That’s on the trainer and the gate crew.
Just get it done and the right way. It’s not rocket science.

One more reason why I fail at this game. There's just people with way too much money. I played the horse at 2-1 across the board at reasonable odd's up to post. Someone layed insane $$ wps and destroyed what I thought was a reasonable bet. Last flash 2-1 to 3/5. I'm about to retire.

when you see a horse that's 8-5 ml and looks the part (often the case) chances are it will go off odds-on when betting closes..the odds drop is from off-site money hitting the pools late and not from individual bettors

the on-track opinion kept this horse's odds high (looks around 4-5 to me on paper) throughout the betting ..always interesting ,especially at kee, when the local money doesn't care for the favorite

I've asked repeatedly for details as to when and from where the "off-track" money hits the advertised pools. The system as-is is not right or fair.

it's from simulcast sites which account for what I believe is a large majority of the handle at host tracks .. it's not fair but from what i read decades ago, redoing the whole tote system infrastructure is either too long, expensive or both

no problem madison..actually a decent angle to use at big venues (enough money in pools)..9-5 ml would be my cutoff..going off around ml around 1 mtp consider another
