Hey Jelly: have you played any HT lately? If so any success? I have been playing on Derby wars with ok results.

I haven’t. I’m really not a fan of the make your picks and they’re set option. I know they have options to play as the races go but not as many people play in those tournaments. I just started playing the horses again recently so just trying to get my feet wet again. I’m pretty clueless for the derby in two weeks lol

OK Jelly yeah I prefer to cap in real time but when I play tournaments I play the Pick N Pray where all picks must be in before 1st post. I find overall that I do better in Pick N pray and it Mitigates shot takers to an extent.

Notes: Jelly doing well but is about even without the $300 ex he hit about a week ago. Jelly's ceiling much higher than the JBEX show as he plays ex in real life and here as well. EX are a great way to max out the profits imo. However we have mitigated it a bit by making all ex a $1 increment max. thx.

Ez, to make it more reflective of my real life wagers, if you want to go back and grade my winning exactas as $1 instead of $2 from the beginning I’d approve. It would make more sense.

Notes: Jelly hit an $311 ex about 1.5 weeks ago but that was a $2 ex which we have now changed to $1 max. so Jelly and I have agreed to change that from a $311 ex hit to $155.50. we move forward with 2W each horse with option to move to $4w and max $1 ex. THX.

Yeah. Always more to learn. STRs thread is good to see other people’s questions and him (former trainer) breaking down what a trainer/horse is trying to do in a race/training. I can’t see this stuff like him. I can see some things but not the detail he does. I also wish I had more time to watch more replays. That’s something I would add in with my capping as well as additional notes. Just don’t have as much time.
