I feel for you Batt, especially if it cost you a triple or something like that. The Stews for the most part are not going to take down a winner because of that really late drift from the left handed whip because it might have allowed another horse to maybe get 3rd.

That's the horses and trainers/riders/owners view. But for players that were affected by the triple or super, what about them? Well, IMO and to put it bluntly, they are not recognized in that situation. I feel it is something that just goes with the territory. Triples started close to 50 years ago. And I don't think they will ever be fully recognized as on equal footing as a win bet, or even an exacta. I think it's one of those , "it's just the way it is" things.
I do understand that way of thinking but for the triple/super player, it stinks. I assume that is what you were holding. Also, the trainer logged the objection not the rider. Believe it or not, that matters. Probably should not but it does.
When I was involved in something like that, what I heard from the Stews was, "yeah we saw it, but".... And that was about it for an explanation.
If you are playing those exotics, it comes with. Fair or not it seems. And NOBODY wants to hear that when they are involved. I get that as well. A player can only hope that it works for them as well as against them sometimes to help even it out. It does stink, but that is usually what happens. Sorry Batt. Those are never easy to take.
