Less enthusiastic younger horses

Is it me or are there just less promising youngsters this year?? Seems in years past I had stock in my stable that was more appealing than this year??

So many babies don't start much or at all as 2 year olds and it makes it a different look I think.

Maybe not, but I think things will heat up in the coming 2-3 weeks as the time is quickly approaching.

Such a different game today. A lot more reading between the lines than it once was IMO.
