as discussed in str thread,should he run in the belmont , going to rate kb a 50% above max bet

working with a scale of 100 being a max bet and 50 being a minimum bet on a triple crown race..preakness will bet less to compensate for the higher (if it happens) kb in belmont bet

so on this scale

150 .. kb in belmont (hopefully)

50 .. preakness (think I know but looking it over more..no rush).. a win goes forward onto belmont..depending on how much may add to kb bet or cover part of the cost of kb bet..loss kb bet still 150


30 .. parlay going forward onto to the preakness ..have some ideas already on thursday and friday races..possibly 1 of the early races at pimlico on saturday..it's possible this will be more than one bet .. any proceeds added to preakness bet..a loss and preakness bet still 50..I will clarify this should there be a profit..play(s)will be up the night before


if I do this it will be for around half but wanted to explain with easy amounts to work with ..the scale is what's important

I had decided if I didn't hit pim 3 that I was going to pass the preakness..if I did probably would have added 30 instead of 50

I had some trouble understanding everything ( I'm an idiot), but all in all , nice play on the blks. On speed/rail in the Preakness.
I haven't heard anything yet on KB. Guess we will soon enough.

I really did make something not so complicated into something that is ..always easier said then done finding one best bet over 3 days..ultimately even I was confused by not putting the right amount in for the preakness bet if anyone followed .. good picks but poor execution


he actually had been close to fast paces without the blinkers and in the bc juvenile had to deal with the outside post..broke his maiden first out in a sprint with the blinkers..whatever the reason he did get out quick and went to the lead with them on


to the 6f mark was about 3 seconds slower than the pimlico special the day before so combine that with the rail and probably explains his resilience in the stretch..went in only 2 ticks slower than that race ..horse on the lead in the fast fractions in the special just missed by a nose



haven't heard anything on kb either..probably will soon I would think
