Churchill Downs Inc. has asked the American Graded Stakes Committee for approval to run the Arlington Million (G1T), Beverly D. Stakes (G1T), and Secretariat Stakes (G2T) next year on Aug. 12 at Colonial Downs.

wasn't aware churchill downs (cdi) bought colonial..makes sense to run those races there especially with the big turf course..also give them a premier recognizable race to give the track some status andsomething to build around
