Race 9 today at KEE is the G3 Sycamore going the marathon route over the weeds. I like this race with a full field. I think there are some horses that look to be a little long in the tooth taking money that I am going to throw out. I'll have my pick up a little later. Anyone got an opinion here?

Here are the 3 I am considering. I think each will be a square price as others in the field look to take a majority of the action. I am going to post my pick approx. 5 minutes to post as I analyze the odds. GL gang!!!
#11 Another Mystery (15-1):His last two have come at this distance where he ran very competitive. He came up a neck short at 15-1 at Kentucky Downs in their Turf Cup (G2) where he faced 11 rivals including the winner who ends up here also. He has 9 races at 1½ miles with only 1 victory but has been in the money 5 times which tells me he likes to go long. My biggest attraction to him is 15-1 and if he stays at or above this I am giving him a serious look right before post.
#13 Highest Honors (8-1):This guy draws into the race from the AE and I am glad he did. His last 3 efforts have been at the 1½ mile distance. This well bred 6yo is lightly raced. This is his 3rd off a lengthy layoff. He too enters following a try in the KD Turf Cup. His speed figures put him right there. Will keep an eye on the odds but I like him at a price if they dismiss him.
#10 Balthus (12-1):Winner of 3 straight although he is stepping up here. Well bred Galileo gelding looks to have figured it out. With only 6 lifetime starts he looks to be improving and takes the logical next step to a G3. Distance should be no problem and Chad may have him spotted well. His figures fit here and I am hoping trainer CB will not attract too much attention.Comment -

I like #6 channel maker (6-1)
just think a grade 3 at this distance is made to order for him..the brisnet pace figures fron his last race were very high and probably had a lot to do with his collapse..don't see a lot of high quality speed in hereComment -
Hey JBX thanks for the response. I always value your input. This is my opinion on #6 Channel Maker; I think the players are going to see those speed figures and bet him. If he is 6-1 at post I think he is a legit play. I can't get past that last effort. I am of the mind that he may be tired.
