#2I think the public is going to forget about Early Voting and I am not with the crowd. He had a bad day. Charge It not running makes me want to take a really hard look at #6.Comment -

#3Agree about forgetting about Early Voting. He's the speed of the speed in this race. I'll give some of my opinions closer to race day. Good luck Pen' like you talking about your opinions on here, do more often!Originally posted by PigpenI think the public is going to forget about Early Voting and I am not with the crowd. #4I'm thinking zandon early on but am not going to commit yet although about 96% of the time I say that it will be my final pick lol..
I guess you could say that early voting might improve coming back in 4 weeks after being off 10..thing I don't like though is he's run well fresh every other time and according to brisnet figures the pace wasn't that fast in the jim dandy.. not going to say that doesn't bode well to get the extra furlong because he did win the preakness at half a furlong less then the travers distanceComment -

#5I just reread that post. It should read #7 at the end not the #6. That being said I think Epicenter goes off at 7/5 or lower. I want none of that. I am going to make him beat me. I have seen this horse lose some races he had no business losing. Another runner I think will take money is Cyberknife. I am not going to put on top either.Originally posted by PigpenI think the public is going to forget about Early Voting and I am not with the crowd. He had a bad day. I am going to look at Early Voting very hard on top hoping he gets out there and make them come get him. I would be very happy with the 8/1 ML odds. What do you guys think about how this race develops? Cyberknife better get out of there clean from the 1 hole. Look forward to you guys selections.Comment -

#6Epicenter is the obvious horse to beat and makes sense. I'm leaning towards Artorius as he's got the most upside, keeps getting better and better, trainer jockey stats are solid, pedigree makes sense for this distance, best jockey at a price. We'll see.Comment -

#7He does have upside. He has gotten better each race. He is his dam's first foal to race and Arrogate has produced some runners. His moma was more of a sprinter and him being her first to reach the track it is tough to assess. Here is my issue with him. Irad is going to drive his price down (IMO) to where he will be too short for my liking.Originally posted by JellymancanEpicenter is the obvious horse to beat and makes sense. #8can't see anybody pressuring early voting after the jim dandy .. I think zandon's trip was disadvantageous in that race ...he will be further back this time and make a big close like he did in his 3 prior races
I agree want no part of epicenter at short oddsComment -

#9This is what I'm going to keep my eye on. I'll have to wait. Any opinion on the Sword Dancer? Many options in there.Originally posted by PigpenHe does have upside. He has gotten better each race. I looked at it and cannot get a feel for the #3 (Broome). He may run away with this or not like the trip over the Atlantic. I am going to construct a horizontal wager including this race and will spread and hope to catch a nice number.Comment -

#11I am going to wait until the post parade. If EV looks lethargic like he did in the Jim Dandy I am going to toss him.Comment -

#12If he runs like he did in last years BC, he should win. I think I read somewhere O'Brien has poor stats at the SPA so I'm thinking the #6 or #8.Originally posted by PigpenI looked at it and cannot get a feel for the #3 (Broome). #13Current odds 4:15
Cyberknife 5-1
Rich Strike 4-1 (Most surprising to me)
Ain't Life Grand 12-1
Gilded Age 12-1
Artorius 7-1
Epicenter 9-5 (feel like this is an overlay)
Early Voting 7-1
Zandon 7-1Comment -

#16Hit the Sword Dancer and almost the exacta. I was rooting for the #8 for both of us. I'm going Artorius in the Travers. Good luck, pen.Originally posted by PigpenThe #7 or #8 here in the Sword Dancer would help my p4Comment -
