#2Used to love AP pre polytrack. My biggest win ever was a $1 tri ($8000 FOR $2/ $4000 FOR $1) which happened on the turf with Ziggy Stardust. AP RIP 2021. I still have Hawthorne, my dad's and mine favorite track. I miss my dad.Originally posted by agendaman1968 at arlington park.dr.fager runs the one mile in 1-321/5 secs. carrying 134 lbs on his back.his record still stands today.congrats big fella.Comment -

#5My dad was the greatest capper I ever met. The green sheet wanted to hire him at age 31. I still have the first book I ever read, The Vogel Sytem. Still sits in my car. An Ex Chicago Cop who retired and opened a bar for cops in 1966. I've always had the gambling bug, my parents divorced in 1963 when I was 5. My best friend and good man. I was luckier than most perhaps, but I hope not for all my gambling brothers here. Fuk politics, let's party & gamble.Originally posted by Easy-Rider 66So your Dad got you into the racing game I assume BOA12? And those were nice scores for sure.Comment -

#6I forget what year that was (Fire), I really didn't start playing until 1974 at age 16. I always did well on the turf. Earlie? Fires on grass, was like pheasant under glass. Bringing a beautiful blonde, assured I'd win 4fun. Women and horses got all my $$$, what a way 2GO. Been a wild ride.Originally posted by agendamanremember the big fire at old AP.back then horses carried huge weights.the great grass horse round table won a 13/4 mi. race with 139 lbs.Comment -

#10Why U & I sit at 5-1 In Tasmania. They think we're twins.Originally posted by Easy-Rider 66I capped the card and landed on the #4 too R2 from CNL. . good call.
My dad said always back up your picks; a lesson I never 4got. $2W $6P my low $$ plays.; $20-$60-X when I thought I was a BIG SHOT.
My picks run 2nd a lot. One day I had 8 places, one win.
One day had 8 wins and one place at sportsmans on Tuesday playing at MAYWOOD off track, a stone throw from my first house. Great Daze as best I can remember
. Been laughing at myself so I don't cry, though yesterday in Highland Park I wept openly. JFC, help US ALL if able. The kid never Left, am I right or wrong?
Just funin', I always read the Onion. And Mad Magazine; What me worry?

#12Politics are made to ramble on. If they didn't, they would all be out of a job. #13You don't know what you got til it's gone. We listened to Carlin on albums in the 70's. Thanks for the kind words str. My dad was kind and generous, I've been doomed & blessed to be the same since I was a kid. Horses is the safest zone at SBR no doubt. Everybody on this sub forum is a good guy. All the best to you my friend.Originally posted by strPolitics are made to ramble on. If they didn't, they would all be out of a job. Carlin said it best, "It's all bullshiq and it's bad for ya".

fappiano one of (maybe the) first big stallion out of mr prospector (top 5 greatest sires ever imo)..fappiano's dam's sire was DR FAGER ..Fappiano sired Unbridled and he is a monster influence on the breed .. besides stallion lines (sons grandsons gg sons) he is the sire of unbridled's song who was a great sire but even more important is he's probably one of the best broodmare sires of at at least the past 30-40 years I'd say..lot's of dr fager blood passed down through this lineComment
