#38Tough beat if anyone had the #15. If he gets out I think he wins here. You guys going to try to beat LIG in the big event? I am going to pass the 1½ mile turf and wait for the dirt runners in the finale.Comment -

At the risk or redboarding I got a last second bet across on the 15 after I glanced at the program confirming my 14 selection. And noticed I was looking at the 15….nothing major but gd I thought he won there for a second.Comment -

#48Nice! Thanks for posting fellas
. My guaranteed bets went: five wagers made, two actually won, two finished third (so they’re paid back) and one finished up the track but feel like they’re encouraging me to take shots at them cost them $ so I’m happy i opted in on the promo.

#50With rebates I figure I did a hair over (+310) for the 8 races. Plenty of bullets for Saratoga sulky racing later…probably go with a 1/2/7 tri box in all their races tonight. Also Hoosier park, the swamps racing tonight with free programs i think (www.bigm.com) and woodbine race 10…#7. Like a pacer in the finale at pocono but that dumps so small I don’t want to risk crushing the pool by going public…lol. But I will say he’s the last possible pacer you can possibility put $ on today at pocono. Not like you guys bet the standardbreds much but hey wth…Comment -

#53second race at Saratoga 7/1/2 paid ~$760 for $6 play ($1 trifecta box)…would that be (a posted) ~127/1 shot?Originally posted by cecil127With rebates I figure I did a hair over (+310) for the 8 races. #54After all was said and done yesterday at Saratoga harness my initial investment ended up returning (+1000) or 10/1. Hit 1 trifecta out of 13 races. Not bad for “playing numbers” and not spending hours looking at the program
Hope your tickets cash!Comment -

#56Well, feel like I owe you gentlemen/women an apology. When I didn't get much early response I went solo. Live and learn.
A few observations after the fact.
Not sure who, but let's blame it on the Saudi's and their abundance of oil $$. They absolutely WAY overvalued the M favorites. In one early race R2/12 was 3/5 and went 1/5 last flash. Into a 1MIL win pool I'm guessing someone bet 200K or so last minutes. I guess it could have been offsite wagering hitting the pool?
I think it was R4. TVG usually posts their top 3 picks with I guess Equibase and other statistical data/picks. Anyway I think they were their 2nd and third choices. I think 1/10. They were 16-1 and 35-1. Q paid $181.
LIG, admittedly biased here, excuses being, no priors overseas. Young horse going 10F for the first time. What's this his 5th or 6th start? Still might be the best 8F around.
All in all, a fun day, with plenty of opportunities. Want to thank all for your help and will be more diligent next opp.
Best to all!Comment -

#57Oh, for whatever it's worth I did survive and made $30-40. Wife thinks I'm nuts for watching horse racing for 8 hours, but it's somewhat relaxing after trying to manage my stock portfolio all week.

#58Going back to the well on Saratoga harness this afternoon with a blanket play of 1/2/7 trifecta boxes and 1/2/7/4 superfecta box for a few dimes on every race where possible. Reinvested every single $ from yesterday’s roll and will be keeping an eye on the races while also watching some hockey and hoping to cash a few first period picks.
Detroit (-.5) (+300) bet mgm

#60That's actually funny (your numbers). I usually play some combo of 4271 in the Breeders cup Supers for .50 boxes or whatever. Probably better odds than the lottery.Originally posted by cecil127Going back to the well on Saratoga harness this afternoon with a blanket play of 1/2/7 trifecta boxes and 1/2/7/4 superfecta box for a few dimes on every race where possible. #62they don't have pari-mutuel wagering over there..my guess is there is a hub somewhere that takes these bets (possibly different country to country)..for example in the states it might be somewhere like the churchill downs or stronach tracks but not sure..it was probably late money hitting the pool from multiple sites and not a lone wagerer but who knows..was 1/2 ml in a 13 horse field so no surprise he went off at 1/5Originally posted by MadisonWell, feel like I owe you gentlemen/women an apology.
