trainer off to a fast start.. good placement for this horse and will benefit from the debut experience at turfway..winner of that race ran a big figure.. gaffalione rides and he tabbed 3 winners saturday on opening day

godolphin (big outfit) homebred makes his 3rd career start here in a 1 1/4 maiden dirt race.. nice pedigree and can see a big effort with his past two under him.. dam by a p indy and that's top of the heap for stamina and class.. she has also been productive with her offspring.. trainer solid numbers over a large sample and despite that still a bit under the radar

first time starter up for $10k from the same owner/breeder as the other maximum (security)..the latter broke his maiden by almost 10 in his debut and interestingly enough was up for sale for $16k in that race..lucky they didn't lose him as that might have gone down as one of the biggest mistakes in horse racing history..have to think they must be pretty sure this one doesn't have the goods to put him up for $10k

like the move up to $50k after debuting last out for 20..ran evenly behind a ridiculously slow pace in that race so consider that effort not so bad..although trainer is having an awful year , this type of thing (maiden claimers and winning early)is an area of expertise for her over time
