Bad last couple weeks and a poor end to the year with some bad beats and decisions by me. Was having a decent year until lately. When this happens, I know it’s time to take a long break from the horses.

Hey ez, came in 2nd once, but I only played HT about 15 times at the end of last year.

I haven't been playing the horses as consistently since the BC and been on a self induced break the past month. Clear the head.

Now that football is close to done, and better cards should be coming up soon, I'll slowly start playing the horses again focusing mainly on the weekends.

You been playing HT or horses in general at all?

OK Jelly sounds good. Yeah IMO with your skill set you should have some measure of success on HT. There are a lot of sharks swimming around but you are a sharp capper. Keep us updated. thx.

Focus on GP, some OAK and possible SA if the day goes well.

just saw you added this question to your response to mine. I have not been playing much horses lately. Was concentrating on the gridiron and a bit burned out from the game. Will probably start playing a little more soon. As for HT I am done. I closed my account for good and they will not let me reopen it. I got frustrated with the bad beats on HT and overreacted. Anyway I now play on Derby Wars. Overall have had more success on DW but HT is clearly the superior site. I can not legally play Pari-mutual in my state so unless I post up offshore that is not an option. Good luck tomorrow Jelly.

Yeah. Horses are a tough game. Need discipline, patience as it’s a grind and sometimes need self awareness for when a break might be needed. Bad beats will happen, accepting them is tough in the moment, but they will always be there and just need a quick reminder to accept them when they occur and move on.

HT isn’t bad but I still prefer doing my own thing. That sucks pari isn’t legal in your state.

I got my under 46½ SF/Philly early in the week. I am watching the lines on both and may make a play later.

Thought Cincy and SF at the start of the year so not jumping ship now. Personally, I thought Trey Lance was going to blow up this year, but as we know that didn't happen. The McCaffrey trade has been perfect for SF. I won't be surprised by any result, Philly is good and so is KC.
