B OA, we used 2 visit family in Port Huron Michigan and during a weeks stay make the trek to Michigan City - a 2 night motel - the ladies would should shop till they dropped ...lol and my BIL and I would head up to Maywood and play for a couple days - till we lost...haha. My BILaw new a couple trainers so we hung around the barns most of the time. One thing that I remember vividy, a couple of the grooms would fish in a river near Maywood (I think it was close) and bring back some great catfish - which they cooked up on a BBQ. God it was good.
On the way back to meet the Ladies I was nailed for speeding on Dulles or Dells road................duh
All in all a great trip - we did it a few times - incl Arlington before and after the fire. I really liked Chicago back then but haven't been back in prob 10 years. One day maybe.........

Used to get a pair of Nikes every Christmas from my step mother, who visited the casinos regularly. Michigan City, did many PU's there, some printing outfit, back in the 90's. I like Michigan, period. Sounds as if U have/Had a wonderful life. Big on tips, never touts.
