gulfstream is closed now and they're running at gulfstream park west (aka calder)..if you want to use their races as plays put them in the small-medium thread (smt)
..when gulfstream reopens on 12/2 that of course will go in big track thread (btt)..in case we can use abbreviation's again

also forgot to mention this 1st post..races scheduled for turf (any condition)must be run on it ..for me dirt races have to be on good or fast tracks to be plays..it's up to you b o a if you want to count off track races (good to me is not off) this is true for both threads

I think #3 Royal Prince is the one to beat in race 10. He was much the best in that non-wagering race at KD, and gets an extra half furlong here. Your pick had no excuse in that race leading in the stretch after being part of the pace and faltering in the stretch. I like #13 Optimus Kat if he draws in. He ran 5th beaten just under 3 lengths after breaking poorly in that same KD race.

Your pick in race 5 is a full sister to Bonny South who is the favorite in the Black-eyed Susan tomorrow at Pimlico. She should run well first time out for Brad Cox.

My top play today at Keeneland will be #9 Lexitonian in the Phoenix.

I try to factor in price if I can find something I think is in the ballpark.. for the most part I won't play horses in maiden races who came in the money in their last race if they're doing close to the same thing.. your's won and as you said because it was a non-wagering race will get another shot at it.. mine did a lot of running and KD is an oddball track.. pace was very fast according to the brisnet figs (understand you weren't far off also).. also like the fact mine cost a lot for the pedigree information which is an angle I often mention and feel still has value a few races into their career.. his debut at ellis Park was solid also.. I like the idea of getting a little value with mine and if I go down to the favorite I accept that

yeah I was aware that R5 was a full sib to the horse you mentioned and with munnings being the sire could be an early runner
