msw with a lot of expensive big pedigree horses.. trying to get a price and have 2 in mind being #1 dream about me (5-1) and #5 skybox (20-1)

2..obvious big figure.. trainer bad meet.. cheap breeding
3,4,7.. nice pedigrees but fts whose trainers aren't good first out
6 ..todd could win but how boring is that.. did little first out
8.. outside bad at a mile


#1 (5-1) 3WP

expensive even for the classy bloodlines and modest dam info.. dam sire and sire combined extreme stamina.. the kind of debut that's perfect primer to stretch out.. inside great at a mile.. toner and maragh get you a better price


#5 (20-1) 2W

did little first out and was 47-1..maybe a dip your toe in the water and not cranked up.. trainer hits big prices 2nd out.. elite sire and classy dam sire.. dam a stakes winner but hasn't produced anything from two other starters (1 winner that didn't do much).. more of a reach but these types can wake up in start 2 even showing minimal effort first out.. connections keep the price elevated even though rusty arnold a veteran who knows what he's doing.. lanerie also decent but not a flashy premier type

4 big pedigrees and two are chad brown's (2,4) and clement also has two (mine and 9)..also interesting each trainer has a debut horse and a 1 time starter..mine a claiborne homebred fts by war front out of a galileo mare..sire and dam sire doesn't get much better than that..latter #1 sire in the world and war front top 10 world and 5 over here.. starting him at a 1 1/8 on turf no surprise..clement one of the better ones debuting two turns on the turf


wouldn't play above ml..I have to though


also worth noting chad brown's debuter (4) is by galileo..something you rarely see in the states

3yo only msw are becoming less common..gulfstream has two on saturday and think oaklawn has one tomorrow

keeneland (next friday) will have fourteen 3yo only msw races along with eight 2yo msw races over the course of the meet..as I said this thread will end after kee meet and will start a new 2yo thread at the beginning..there 2yo races usually suck though..4.5f and wesley ward wins half of them lol..competition pretty weak though as most of the trainers don't want to start good horses this early
