You ever have those days where you pick awesome but make the wrong bets. It I was using my doubles horses in exactas I would be up $300 instead of down. Example race 2 horses I used for double I won $37 would have won $93 on exacta. Race 4 my horses for double would have gotten me around $160 something for exacta box but now I’m alive to a double with one horse in race 5 that pays about $50. Don’t get me started if I played the trifectas today.

All because I did a bunch of historical research that said my double was by far my best bet and the only one I’m profitable on in the last year. Hahaha.

Have a friend Pete The Plumber and have played horses with him hundreds maybe thousands of times known him since 1977. He's a fine capper, but his methods are disturbing. Picks a single horse and always tell him if you keyed with all in exactas you'd be up large today. Loves P3's, as do I, but I mostly bet WP and key in exactas. If I'm up, sometimes back up exacta with all too. Bol homer glad you are at least capping well, keep it going brother. Even cappers fall out of form.

Yeah I was trying to cut down to mostly doubles and a few exactas, And very little pick 3456’s and not overlap as much so that one horse doesn’t destroy everything that’s been my issue lately but of course when you are hot it doesn’t matter. Also been trying to use the all button less even though I feel like that’s how I’ve hit most of my big stuff I also know I’ve overdone it

Believe, and know in my case, gimmicks are fun, but costly. When I started playing it was WP, Q's mostly.Also, in '76, their were no P3's 4's, supers that I remember. 9th Race always played the Tri. Only one of the card. Hit my 3 winners 3places maybe, got liquored up, and came home even mostly. Bol homer.

Those pick 456’s are so tempting because people tend to over play the favorites that you can get a bunch of 4-1 horses with one medicore longshot not even crazy something like 10-1 and blow up the price. Same with the 20 cent pick six. Everybody chasing the unique tickets that they overplay both the favorites and the longshots and the mid price horses are extreme overlays in the sequence.

The 1 in race 7 is my longshot pick of the day. I had that three in race 4 at 23-1 but missed the backside of the double.

Agree 100%. Been playing P3's the last 2 or 3 years and hit many but often lose money on the wager. If i was smart would stay away, but I'm not. Bol the rest of today homer.

I was all about that 10 in race 6! Old me would have just hit all in race 7 for double... but I’m alive to the 1,2,3,8. Let’s get the 1 as i have $3 on it and it pays $159 for a $1 and I would be alive for a race 8 pick 3. I will gladly take the 2,3,8 though as well I just don’t want to whiff completely hahaha.
