I would've liked to see a little more support in spite of the fact the trainer is complete non-entity..that,slow works and a layoff are all reason's public might be put off by him..his last line is very good vs this field though..final decision half your bet on him (whatever you were gonna go)

to me there's a lot of obvious put off factors that might explain it.. it's not one of those automatic "dead in the water" situations to me.. so feel it should just be a smaller bet

bombers like the one in this race should be bet lighter.. I'd say at least a third of what you'd bet on a 5-1

seastriper you understand what I mean by adjusting your bets a little relative to the odds (if you're playing live). if you're a win bettor and your top bet is $10 something like

$10 under 10-1
$7 ..10-20
$5.. 21-30
$3.. higher

if I hit $10 win on a 6-1 I don't want to give $10 of that back on a 25-1 shot.. I think that's the right way to do it if you're just a win and place bettor

maybe they named him that for a reason lol.. line perfect.. but other thing I thought was how much faster his pace figs are then the probable favorite just inside of him.. also you have a cutback from 1 1/8 to a mile.. coming back in 2 weeks you think he'd retain some of that fitness from that race.. connections obscure so won't attract a bunch of attention. also you have gallardo on the outside with a well bred 4yo firster (especially what dam did on track and as a broodmare).. but starting as a 4yo for $16k so that's easy to take a stand against at a low price

there's actually 2 plays as I replaced R3 with #8 hex (6-1)

I had a hunch I was not going to follow through on that lol..so this a reasonable compromise and chance to make
some decisions on who..it's not going to necessarily be the most likely winner but the best value
