yes doing it that way is very impersonal vs doing it the conventional way..still you have something to root for and sounds like they may have done their homework regarding
their potential value after they retire as broodmares and the other as a sire..still though as I said probably no bargain


story behind not so good but have put a lot of time studying this game..as matter of fact way too much time .. but I do love handicapping..it's helped me some ways but hurt me more lots of other ways..unconventional bad

I look at it as more than who wins a contest..I think it's an excellent way to sharpen your skills for race selection and money management..I play (in my case pick)a few too many borderline races.. I find I take a harder look at things when I do it this way even though no real stakes are involved ..but heck I'd still like to win lol

good and bad here..debut horse that is not only expensive but also is relative to his pedigree specs..also an above avg turf pedigree and speed sire on top..steady works going back about 2 months ..trainer having a very solid meet

glaring negative proctor is a poor debut trainer including turf debuters..


relative to this level not a particularly scary field other than the probable favorite #8 my eclair (2-1) who certainly deserves respect

like the gradual fade line* exiting a very fast (winners fig) race in prior off the turf sprint as a setup for the stretch out (debut race).. trainer having a monster meet and excellent first time route and off a short layoff.. was a very expensive horse relative to the pedigree but is running for less than half the auction price.. to me that balances out a positive but could understand seeing it the other way.. comes in off steady works at pine meadows including last one a bullet 4f
