A large field is projected to go 1 1/8-miles over the synthetic main track at Golden Gate. The biggest name that could run here is Azul Coast for trainer Bob Baffert. Azul Coast won Dec. 8 on debut and came back to run a distant second behind Authentic in the Jan. 4 Sham (G3) at Santa Anita.
