Way too much chalk wins at Del Mar. The prices for decent food and drinks are also ridiculous. With the soaring cost and value of real estate, Horse Racing is a dying sport in California. Del Mar will survive, but Santa Anita will be gone within 3 years. Los Al has no turf racing.
