Kentucky Derby Bet - "Winning Horse 2:04 or slower"
I placed a wager that the "winning horse would be slower than 2:03:99". The casino graded it as a loss. Does anyone have experience in this type of race outcome?

    1) Country House was the winning horse. I cannot find results showing his time. He finished more than a length behind Maximum Security, who clocked in at 2:03:93. Is there a resource out there that will state the time of Country House?

    2) Does it matter? Is there a rule out there that addresses this?

Thank you all. Clearly I made a bad bet, but it would be fortunate to get bailed out by luck for once.

the basic rule but not 100% accurate due to length of horse and the actual race set up is one fifth of a second equals one length. If that is case your wager wins. BUT the book may have a rule that track time is official time. I would go into a dedicated horse forum or twitter and ask a pr0
