FWIW, Mike Smith at the rail just held off Victor Espinoza on the dirt for the win in race 6. The rail is strong. Race 8 s the Pacific Classic. Espinoza on the speedy #3 Accelerate should have the inside, and Smith on #8 Arrogate has the outside. Smith could be aggressive out of the gate to try to get the lead, though. This race is crucial for Arrogate who will only have the BC Classic after it.
