    Learning about horses...
    Hello all,

I've always been fascinated by you folks who can cap races and pick horses, and the entire horse racing betting process. Can any of you folks offer up and good sites to read up on and learn a thing or two??

    Thanks to all!

Brisnet.com has the best Past performances available if you are serious about learning the game you should get familiar with those. There are many good books out there you should choose one that covers pace, class and current form amongst its main topics. It's a tough game but can be lots of fun.

Sorry for a bit of shameless self-promotion, but I did 5 videos on the topic that you can check out there if you are interested: http://forum.sbrforum.com/players-ta...eo-series.html

Didn't complete the series, but there is some good content to get you started and get you familiar with some of the basics if you are interested

        1. DONT LOOK @ THE MORNING LINE! wait as long as possible to place your bet, learn and stick with 1 track, go with trainers & jockeys that have a high win % together & solo, horses should be fresh, 17-45 days between starts, past performances are the most reliable. the Daily Racing Form is on-line or you can go old school and by the paper (which i suggest!) then get on-line DRF.COM and go to how to read the form. if you have never seen it before it looks like a form of hyroglifics? but the info is extremely useful once you get a grasp of it, my uncle taught me at an early age how to read it and i honed my skills by PAST POSTING yeah i know its a waste of time learning about races already run that i have 0% chance of make'n any $$$, you get good form and an eye for winners!!if you pick the rite races you can carry that 411 to the next time those horse's race again you'll be surprised how many times they run against each other. o yeah pick a good track BEL/CHURCH/HOLLY/SANTAANITA/GULF many others but better quality horses are easier to cap. good luck friend hope this helps if you need anythng give a holler PJ
